Payment and PricesAll prices are subject to VAT at the current rate at date of invoice. We reserve the right to alter any prices and specifications without prior notice. Full payment with order by cheque, bankers draft and most major credit cards. Cheques made payable to Salon Beauty Supplies Ltd. Returned, unpaid cheques will incur a charge of £25.00.
DimensionsAll sizes are approximate but given as accurately as possible. We do not recommend that any fitting work is carried out prior to the delivery of goods when reliant on sizes.
Delivery
Delivery charges vary according to location and goods; We will notify you of this at the time of order. Some items maybe delivered free of charge. Please be aware that delivery for some parts of the UK (including some parts of Scotland, Ireland, Wales etc.)there will be an extra charge. We will contact you with further details when your order has been placed. As we have to rely on carriers etc, no deliveries can be guaranteed, although every effort will be made to carry out the delivery on the stated day.Access details are required at the time of order, indicating any parking restrictions etc. Due to driver insurance clauses, deliveries will only be made to ground floor level. From there on it becomes the customers responsibility. Help maybe required for large or heavy items. Some items maybe delivered on a pallet. The driver is only obliged to unload the pallet from the lorry, so may not take the goods inside the premises. If you are at all concerned about this, please contact us. If the goods cannot be delivered or accepted and redelivery is required there will be an extra charge.
Inspection of GoodsAlthough it is rare that goods become damaged on delivery, it can occasionally happen. Goods must be inspected at time of delivery. Shortages or damages must be reported within 24 hours from delivery time. You may be asked to provide photographs of any damages.
GuaranteeAll items are guaranteed according to the manufacturers warranty. All glass and mirrors are excluded from this guarantee. No manufacture can guarantee fabric against staining, please take care when using colour or other chemicals near to upholstered goods.
The seller will provide product warranty for a period of twelve months from date of invoice. This warranty includes labour, additional parts or suitable replacement if the goods are deemed by the seller to be faulty. Any products deemed to be damaged due to misuse, wear and tear, neglect, fire or any attempt to repair or modify by persons other than the seller will void the warranty. The warranty excludes the cost of return/resend carriage fees. The product must be returned to the seller for inspection before any repairs, parts or warranty replacements can be issued. Costs of repairs, additional parts or inspection outside of warranty period will be the responsibility of the buyer. All returned products have a minimum repair time of ten working days, depending on the circumstances of the repair issue. Product warranty does not include the cost of on - site repairs. Should the buyer request on site repairs to be carried out by the seller, the payment for travel expenses and labour must be paid in full to minimum sum of £180.00 plus VAT and £20.00 plus VAT for each additional product thereafter, this excludes the cost of additional parts in non warranty situations. This payment must be made to the seller by the buyer before any service is carried out. In the event that on site inspections determine that a product is not faulty during a valid warranty period, the buyer will be responsible for the cost of replacement parts or products. All goods are returned at the buyers risk and must be safely packaged before collection. Goods are not sold on a sale or return basis.
Cancellations and ReturnsCancellations and returns must be approved; some items cannot be cancelled as they are specially made to order. Approved cancellations will incur a charge of 20% of the goods. Returns must be made by the customer and packed in original packaging or sufficient to ensure the safe carriage of the goods. If a credit or refund has been agreed, this will not take affect until the goods have been returned and checked and are in resaleable condition.
ElectricalElectrical goods should be installed by a qualified person. Title Goods remain the property of Salon Beauty Supplies Ltd until such time that goods purchased are paid in full.
